In Crimea, the court extended the arrest of an Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh

Razdolnensky court extended the preventive measure in the form of a detention to an Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh before August 14. The decision was announced by Judge Tatyana Pyrkalo. The date of the next court session is June 22 at 15: 00PM.

Earlier on June 15, Balukh felt ill in the courthouse. An ambulance arrived, the doctors gave Balukh an injection, but his health did not improve.

Before that, the Kremlin-controlled Razdolnensky Crimean Court on June 15 interrogated the former wife of the Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh, Natalia, who was starving in the Simferopol jail.

Natalia Balukh explained the court that she knew about the repeated conflicts between Vladimir Balukh and Valery Tkachenko, head of the temporary detention facility in Razdolnensky District. According to her, Tkachenko constantly insulted Vladimir on the basis of his nationality.

Balukh continues the indefinite hunger strike, which he declared on March 19 2018.
