The security forces handed warnings to the coordinator of the Crimean Solidarity and two lawyers

The lawyers Eden Semedlyaev, Lilia Gemeji, as well as the coordinator of the public association Crimean Solidarity, Dilyavera Memetov, were released after the visit of Russian security forces to a meeting on October 27. At the same time, everyone was handed warnings on prevention of any violation of legislation in the field of extremism and terrorism. “Crimea. Realities” writes about it.

“All three were given a warning to prevent violation of legislation in the field of extremism and terrorism. While they are not presented with procedural status. The prosecutor’s office received information from the Center of Combating Extremism, the Kyrgyz Republic, that activists are preparing single-person pickets, that’s the reason all three, allegedly as the organizers, were given a warning” as posted on the Crimean Solidarity’s Facebook page.

On October 27, officials of the Russian prosecutor’s office, accompanied by masked unidentified persons, as well as a police officer, attended the meeting of the Crimean Solidarity in Simferopol.

Representatives of the prosecutor’s office raided for one of the coordinators of the Crimean solidarity, a son of the participant in the Bakhchisarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case Dilyaver Memetov and Crimean lawyer Lily Gemeji.

After the annexation in Crimea, actual Russian authorities practice mass searches of independent journalists, civil society activists, activists of the Crimean Tatar national movement, members of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people, as well as Crimean Muslims suspected of links to the Hizb ut-Tahrir, the organization that is banned in Russia.
